Easter Monday

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a lovely Easter. It was a beautiful sunny day here in MA. We had Easter dinner at my aunts house this year (ham, potatoes, salad, veggies) and of course I brought something for dessert! I decided to make the ever so famous Easter bunny head cake. I just used plain old Fun-fetti cake mix from Pillsbury.

I used some jelly beans on the bunny’s bow tie and eyes. And used gel icing to draw the face and outline the ears, and I used plain vanilla frosting on his whole head

I cut one circle like the diagram below:

Here is my bunny before he was frosted!

And here is the finished product!

What did you guys bring to the table for Easter???

Have a good Monday! 😊

Hello world! Or should I say, Alohaaaa!!!

Aloha everyone, and welcome to Sugared Hibiscus! I’m Steph, I am 22 years old and currently living in MA! I work in the business industry. I love cooking, baking, travel, photography, dogs, music, adventure, decorating, fashion, snowboarding, and event planning! My boyfriend Tyler and I are planning on moving to Kauai, HI for a couple of years while he works on his ocean/marine biology degree. We have been together for almost 7 years, he means everything to me and I want him to be able to live out his dream! I started the Sugared Hibiscus blog because I LOVE to make cakes and cupcakes and decorate cakes. I started at a young age with just basics and now I am taking classes as well as online classes on how to work to create wonderful edible masterpieces! I am just starting out so feedback would be appreciated! Eventually when we make the big move, I would like to work in a bakery down in Hawaii, and maybe have my own business on the side (reason for my name, Sugared Hibiscus!) Please feel free to browse my blogs posts. I do not always post about baking, but also some photos (taken with my Nikon or my IPhone 6+), travel, recipes, and maybe just how I am feeling! Mahalo everyone!!!
